THE DELI

When transitioning the casual madness of an African city one relishes the occasional gem or diamond in "the Botswanan rough." Marc's eatery is the proverbial oasis that celebrates fabulous food delivered with impeccable service. Fresh, fresh, fresh...not sure where the garden is but it has to be close and full. How this growing business works out in a virtual dust bowl in the dry season is a feat in itself. I had a Fillet that was superbly flavored with 4 different pesto dressings and helpings of greens, beets and carrots laced with a flavorful olive oil dressing. Had I looked, the garden may have been growing under my table. The dining area is a casually reserved patio setting. Marc"s is the place if you ever find yourself in Maun.
