Raised in Kenya, Debbie comes from a farming family,  loves the outdoors and helping local people in promoting tourism, agri-tourism and self-empowerment.  She’s lived in Maun for the last 30 years,  spending much of her time in Ghanzi promoting Basarwa culture and healing dances and in community concessions on tourism enterprise projects.   Charmed by the recent acquisition of a herd of Saanen goats from South Africa, Debbie has quickly expanded her interest and is now the proud owner of a dairy herd of 11 goats and a herd of stunning Kalahari Red (goats)  – with a view to supplying Marc’s Eatery with high quality, locally produced meat and dairy products.
