THE IDEA
Marc has always had a passion for food and decided to make this passion his business.
He was frustrated by the general acceptance of mediocrity in Maun and wanted to strive for something more, to raise the bar, proving that good service and good quality food delivery can be achieved in Maun and they knew the local community would support this endeavour. Although the Eatery is not in the centre of Maun, it is situated 3 km’s from the airport in a lush garden that offers an oasis to its visitors and a respite from hot and dusty Maun.

and bringing a variety of hand-picked artisanal foods to the local market.

The Eatery is ever evolving and this is an essential part of Marc’s philosophy to keep
it interesting and to excite his guests.
This challenges Marc to constantly be creative and stimulates him to constantly learn and grow and share his passion
with his guests.
Marc offers a variety of specials
on a daily basis which are an expression
of his inspiration; platters, soups, main dishes, deserts and drinks.
He is hungry for knowledge and embraces any opportunity to learn more, be it baking bread, brewing a good cup of coffee, making terrines or charcuterie.
